Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website and any service you buy through it. Using the site means you accept them.

Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Glovels Consultants Private Limited ("Glovels", "we", "us"), a company registered in India.

What we do, and what we do not

We are an education consultancy. We match students to universities abroad — public universities in particular — and we help with the work of getting there: shortlisting, applications, statements of purpose and letters of recommendation, scholarships, education loans, blocked accounts, insurance, fee transfers and visa paperwork.

We are not a university, an agent of any university, or any part of a government. We do not decide admissions and we do not grant visas. An admission is decided by the university. A visa is decided by the consulate. Where a package carries an admission guarantee, that guarantee is a promise about our fee and is set out in full on the Refund and Cancellation policy.

What the university finder shows you

The finder matches you against a catalogue we maintain of programmes, fees, intakes and entry requirements. We keep it current and we check it, but universities change fees, deadlines and requirements without telling us, and the university's own website is the authority. Anything the finder shows is an indication to act on, not a representation you should rely on without checking.

Some information — the names of public universities you match, and their fees — is shown in full only to students who have bought a package that includes it. What a package includes is stated on the package.

Your account

The student dashboard holds your shortlist, your documents, your applications and your conversation with your counsellor. You are responsible for your password and for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has it.

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must open it and deal with us on your behalf.

What you have to give us, and what happens if it is wrong

Everything we do rests on your documents and on what you tell us. Marksheets, test scores, passports, funds statements and work history must be true, complete and yours. A university that finds otherwise will reject the application, and may bar you from applying again; a consulate may refuse a visa and record the refusal.

We do not verify documents for authenticity and we do not present them as verified. If a document you gave us turns out to be false or materially incomplete, we may stop work without refund, and any guarantee attached to your package does not apply.

Deadlines

Applications run on the university's calendar, not ours or yours. When we set you a deadline in writing for a document, a payment or a decision, meeting it is your part of the arrangement. If a deadline is missed and an application fails because of it, that is not a failure of the service.

Fees, GST and what a price includes

Prices on this site are in Indian rupees and include GST at the rate shown at checkout. The price of a package covers the services listed on that package and nothing else. Third-party costs are yours and are not included: university application fees, tuition, deposits, blocked-account fees, test fees, visa fees, biometrics, translation, apostille, courier and travel.

We may change our prices at any time. A change never affects a package you have already bought.

Cancellation and refunds

Set out separately, on the Refund and Cancellation policy. In short: fees are not refundable once paid, save where a service was not delivered, where we cancel, or where an admission guarantee pays out.

What we write for you

The studio on this site helps you draft a statement of purpose or a letter of recommendation from things you tell it about yourself. It arranges your own material — it does not invent achievements, grades or titles, and you must not add any. The draft is a starting point and the final document is yours: you are the one signing it, and you are responsible for it being true.

Our material

The text, design, catalogue and tools on this site belong to us. You may use them to plan your own education. You may not copy the catalogue, scrape the site, or resell any part of it.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for doing our work with reasonable care and skill, and for the promises we make on the packages we sell you. We are not responsible for decisions that are not ours: an admission refused, a visa refused, a fee a university changes, a deadline a university moves, or a delay at a bank or a consulate.

Where we are liable to you, our liability is limited to the fee you paid us for the service concerned. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the arrangement

You may stop using the site at any time; the refund policy governs money already paid. We may suspend or close an account that supplies false documents, abuses our staff, or uses the site to do something unlawful.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, the Grievance Redressal page names the person whose job it is to deal with it and the time in which they must reply.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date it took effect is shown above. A change does not alter the terms of a package you have already bought.
